a sinterklaas gift: a book starring your child
pepernoten in the cupboard, a shoe by the chimney, and then the big question: what will the present be. if your family celebrates sinterklaas — or your children came home from school singing the songs — skip the toy catalogue this year and make a book where your child plays the lead, written and illustrated from your own photos. as if sint had it made especially. one thing to know: printing and delivery take time, so order well before pakjesavond on 5 december.
building it is free — you only pay when you order.

frequently asked
when do I need to order to have it before pakjesavond?
the preview is ready in a few minutes, but printing and delivery take time — and around sinterklaas the couriers are extra busy. you see the current delivery time at checkout. so order weeks ahead, not in the final week.
we’re new to sinterklaas — how does it work?
the short version: sinterklaas arrives in the netherlands in november, children set out a shoe in the evenings, and on 5 december — pakjesavond — the presents arrive. if your child goes to school here, they’ll be living it fully. a book where they star feels exactly like something only sint could know.
can the book be about sinterklaas himself?
the story is written around your photos. if you have photos of the intocht, shoe-setting or baking pepernoten, it naturally becomes a sinterklaas story. you can also briefly tell us what happened when you make it.
what if I’m too late for pakjesavond?
make the book anyway and show the free preview on the night, with a note from sint saying the real book is on its way. or move it along to christmas — where the same rule applies: order in time.
