personalised hardcover book

a personal book as a first communion gift

a first communion: a room full of family, one child in the middle of it all for a whole day, and a pile of cards with money inside. kindly meant, but a year later nobody remembers what was in them. a book where the communicant plays the lead — written and illustrated from your own photos — is still on the shelf ten years on. especially lovely from a godparent: something personal beside the envelope.

building it is free — you only pay when you order.

frequently asked

what age does this work for?

first communion falls around seven or eight, and our stories are written for children up to about eight — so it fits, right at the grown-up end of the range. for confirmation age, around twelve, a picture book is honestly too young; better to choose something else then.

I’m the godparent — how do I get photos?

ask the parents for a few photos, three is already enough. or make the book together with them, so it stays a surprise for your godchild. you choose the delivery address at checkout — that can be the child’s home directly.

can the book be about the day itself?

yes, that works nicely afterwards: make a book from the photos of the day — the outfit, the cake, the whole family together — so the child can relive their own big day.

am I in time for a communion in may?

the preview is ready in a few minutes, but printing and delivery take time — you choose the delivery country at checkout and see the current delivery time there. the communion date is known months in advance, so simply order a few weeks ahead.
