pools often don’t allow photos — which photos do I use?
many pools make an exception on diploma day, so do ask. otherwise photos of the day itself work fine: the diploma in hand, the wet hair, the little party afterwards. three photos is already enough.
we’re new to this — what are diplomas a, b and c?
the dutch swim-abc. diploma a is the first one and usually the biggest celebration; b and c build on it, and with the full abc children meet the national swimming safety standard. you can make a book for each diploma, or wait until the whole abc is in and turn it into one story.
can the book be a gift from grandma and grandad?
yes, especially if they were there for the afzwemmen — or watching proudly from another country. ask the parents for a few photos, or make the book together afterwards. you choose the delivery address at checkout; that can be the child’s home directly.
the afzwemmen is next week — am I in time?
the preview is ready in a few minutes, but printing and delivery take time; you see the current delivery time at checkout. good to know: the book gets better if you make it after diploma day — then the photos of the afzwemmen itself can go in.
