the baby isn’t born yet, how can there be a book?
two ways. the easiest: give a card with the promise at the shower, and make the book once the first photos are there, as a made-to-measure newborn gift. or turn it around and make a book about the parents-to-be: working on the nursery, the growing belly, the waiting. they’ll read that one together with their child later.
can I give it together with the other guests?
yes, that happens a lot. one person arranges the book, the rest joins in via the card. because the preview is free, you know exactly what you’re giving together beforehand.
what if the name isn’t known yet?
no problem. the book is only made once the baby is there, so the name simply goes in then. for a book about the parents-to-be, no name is needed.
