Frequently asked
How many photos do I need?
One clear photo is enough to begin. With more photos we can include more moments in the story, up to a maximum of 40 photos.
How closely will the characters look like my child?
We capture the recognisable things, hair colour, hairstyle, skin tone, glasses, in an illustrated style. It’s a drawing, not a photo, so it’s your child the way they’d appear in a picture book. Sharp, close-up photos help a lot.
Do I need to be able to write?
No. We write the story from what we recognise in your photos. You can add a note if you like, a name or what happened that day, and in the free preview you can change any sentence you want.
How much does a book cost?
The preview is free, so you see the whole book first. A printed book starts at € 34,95 for a softcover (24+ pages) and € 39,95 for a hardcover (32+ pages); a thicker book costs a little more per extra page. Standard shipping is free and the book arrives within 7 working days. Rather not print it? The digital version is € 9,95 on its own.
What happens to my photos?
We only use your photos to draw the characters for your book. They’re stored encrypted, never shared or sold, and you can have them deleted afterwards.
