a father’s day gift: the book of adventures with dad
every year the same question: what do you get dad. and every year the safe option wins — socks, something for the shed, another bottle. not this year. because there’s one subject dad never gets tired of: the adventures with his child. the rough-and-tumble on the sofa, the shoulder rides, fixing things together, standing along the sideline. turn that into a book — written and illustrated from your own photos, with dad and the child in the leading roles. mum helps the child make it, and on father’s day there’s a gift that couldn’t be about any other dad.
building it is free — you only pay when you order.

frequently asked
which photos work best?
photos of the real dad moments: the child on his shoulders, together in the shed, roughhousing on the sofa, on the back of the bike. good news — because mum is often the one taking the photos, dad is probably in more of them with the child than the other way round. three sharp photos is already enough.
how do we keep it secret from dad?
mum and the child make it together while dad is out — choosing photos, telling us what should be in it, and watching the preview together. the real work comes after: a child who knows what dad is getting keeps that in for about a day. so don’t make it too far ahead of father’s day, and keep an eye on the post for the parcel.
when is father’s day, and when should I order?
in the netherlands, the uk and most countries, father’s day falls on the third sunday of june; in belgium it’s the second sunday of june. the preview is ready in a few minutes, but printing and delivery take time — you see the current delivery time at checkout. so make the book a few weeks ahead, not the weekend before.
can this book be for grandad too?
yes, father’s day is for grandads too. a book about grandad and his grandchild — the sleepovers, the vegetable garden, feeding the ducks — might be the sweetest thing he can get. use photos of them together, and feel free to have it delivered straight to him; you choose the address at checkout.
