about the big kid themselves. you use ordinary photos — three is enough — and briefly mention that a little brother or sister is on the way. we write the story around that: building the cot, waiting, and soon being the big brother or sister.

yes. if they’re in the photos together, we simply draw the baby in. the leading role stays with the big kid — that’s what this book is for.
