Is this a new baby gift?

It’s a close cousin. A new baby gift is about the baby, we have a separate page for that. This book is about the big kid, who deserves a present of their own in all the excitement.

The baby isn’t here yet, what is the book about then?

About the big kid themselves. You use ordinary photos, three is enough, and briefly mention that a little brother or sister is on the way. We write the story around that: building the cot, waiting, and soon being the big brother or sister.

The baby is already here, can they be in the book?

Yes. If they’re in the photos together, we simply draw the baby in. The leading role stays with the big kid, that’s what this book is for.

What age does this work for?

Best for children from around two to eight, and most big brothers and sisters to-be are right in that range. You choose the age yourself, we adjust the language.
