Frequently asked

Do the photos have to be of the baby?

No. A photo from your own life is exactly what makes the gift special. Use a trip taken by the grandparents, a childhood memory from mum, or an adventure with an aunt or uncle. Photos of the baby or family are welcome too.

I’m an aunt, uncle or godparent. Can the story be about me?

Yes. The book can tell what you experienced and what you would like to pass on to this child later. The baby gets a storybook that truly comes from the family.

Do I have to write the story myself?

No. Upload one photo and we recognise the people, place and moment. We use that to write the story and illustrate the pages. You can optionally tell us what happened or why the memory matters.

Isn’t a book too early for a newborn?

The book grows with them. Today it is a personal keepsake, later it becomes the story you read together about what their family experienced.

Is this a good new baby gift for a boy or a girl?

Both. There is no generic blue or pink story: your real memory and the people in your photo shape the book.
